For my photography friends: Apparently I’m late to the game on this. Ever since I bought my camera, my chief complaint has been the strap. Yes, I know I’m supposed to ditch the one I got and get a new one, but I just haven’t found the right size/material/style. Enter the Luma Loop from Luma Labs. When I first saw this photo, I thought to myself: How awesome would it be to have a Red Dawn movie, except instead of the Russians invading, it was the Imperial army. Here, a few AT-ATs are walking across a high school football field and parking lot in a Hoth-like fog.

My mom has been sending me pictures of wintry fog in Overland Park, Kansas — and to me it always looks like the ice planet Hoth from The Empire Strikes Back. So, I took it a step further and added some AT-ATs. That’s my high school football stadium in the background.

Disney gave private demonstrations of KeyChest at CES. It was well received and people were very enthusiastic about the initiative. I’m glad the tech community is finally realizing it’s not another DRM system. Disney’s KeyChest is not DRM — Engadget
